Join the Singers for a wonderful evening of Summer Music..
Our Summer concert event will be at 6.30 pm on Saturday, 29th June at St Mary and All Saints, Fotheringhay.
The evening will begin with a glass of bubbles (Prosecco or Elderflower) and some delicious strawberries.
Fresh from presenting in Oxford, Nick Hill MBE from Historic England will delight us with an introductory talk, “A History of Fotheringhay Church or, “how to lose a choir”!
The Singers will then perform a wide range of recent music items from our Choral Tour of Budapest in May.
Tickets for this unique event are just £15 to include bubbles and strawberries - and will be highly sought after.
The Falcon pub next to the Church is open all afternoon for lunch, pub snacks and afternoon tea. Very pleasant. There are also nice walks around the village and down to the river if you’d like to arrive early - perhaps bring a picnic. There is plenty of parking and anyone wishing to arrive by boat along the Nene it is a short walk across the field to the Church!
The concert will finish in day-light - no driving in the dark…!
